about me

My name is Tracy but most people call me T.

I’m a little bit crazy and love great design. I also have an amazing love affair with COLOUR. It literally makes my heart sing! In the real world I am a graphic designer, specialising in designing for charities and education for UK & international clients. In my spare time I also paint and I conduct ceremonies as a Humanist Celebrant. Life is pretty busy!

For recreation I have always turned to crafts, from sewing to knitting and making jewellery, painting, photography … you name it, over the years I’ve tried it.

In the fashion world I am “plus size”. Yes, siree, I’ve got curves and I’m not afraid to use ’em! I love that by sewing I can make unique clothes that I would never find in any shop, and make them so they actually fit me. What a revolutionary thought! After all, why shouldn’t everyone rock their own personal style, regardless of size?

Now a contented 50-something, I divide my time between proper work (designing) and sewing/crafting, whiling away the hours in a brilliant art room at the bottom of my garden, where I can create mess to my hearts content!

I love books, design, sewing, art, writing, shoes, cats and very dark organic chocolate (not necessarily in that order). Oh, and John, who is my 'Tree'. I have taken the fact that I fit perfectly under his chin, that he loves mashed potato as much as I do, and that my cats adore him, as signs from the universe that we are meant to be together.

I live in a tiny cottage at the edge of the Chiltern Hills.
